The Hult Prize 2025 is coming to KUFS with an on-campus program on – Saturday, January 18, 2025.


Hult Prize at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies: Empowering Student Innovators to Solve Global Challenges

[Kyoto, Japan] – [January 1, 2025] – Kyoto University of Foreign Studies is proud to host the on-campus program for the Hult Prize, a global student competition that challenges young innovators to develop sustainable solutions for the world’s most pressing issues. This year’s program, titled “Unlimited” offers a unique opportunity for students to collaborate, learn, and pitch their ideas to a global audience.

Sota Miyakawa, On-Campus Director and third year student from the Department of Global Studies, is optimistic about the future. Miyakawa observed, “the 2024-25 Hult Prize is bigger and better than ever. We already have 10 teams participating, have held skill development workshops and secured Kyoto sponsors from the local and global community….with our high levels of participation and community engagement, we believe the Hult Prize is well-prepared and positioned for future growth at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies. ”

Student teams will be pitching their sustainable business on January 18, 2025.
